Cairo

Chaotic, colorful Cairo is the capital of Egypt and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is full of cultural landmarks, from the Hanging Church (one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Egypt) to Al-Azhar Mosque (the second-oldest continuously run university in the world). The Egyptian Museum houses over 120,000 artifacts, including mummies, sarcophagi and the treasures of Tutankhamun.
