1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

2. What We Collect
Only what is needed to answer your enquiry and operate your booking: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, nationality, travel dates, party size, hotel and pickup details, and any information you choose to include in messages (for example dietary needs, medical or mobility requirements). Newsletter subscribers share only an email address. We do not collect payment card data through this site.
3. Why We Use It (Legal Bases)
We process your data to take steps you request before entering a contract (replying with quotes), to perform the contract (operating your booking, coordinating pickups with drivers, guides and hotels), to comply with legal obligations (for example hotel registration required by Egyptian law), and — with your consent — to send our occasional newsletter. We do not sell or rent personal data, we do not profile you, and we never use your data for third-party advertising.
4. WhatsApp & Communications
If you contact us on WhatsApp or give a WhatsApp-capable number, we reply there; those conversations are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Booking confirmations, pickup times and driver names are sent by email or WhatsApp as you prefer.
5. Who We Share It With
We share booking details only with the suppliers who deliver your services — hotels, cruise operators, drivers, licensed guides, airlines — and only what each needs to operate your trip. Authorities receive information where Egyptian law requires it. Our website and database are hosted with reputable providers under access controls; no other third parties receive your data.
6. Photos & Testimonials
Reviews you submit are published with the name and country you provide (moderated first). Group photos taken on tours may appear in our gallery or social channels; tell your guide or write to us and we will not use — or will remove — any image of you.
7. Retention
Enquiry records that do not become bookings are deleted within 24 months. Booking records are kept for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal/accounting obligations, then deleted. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe (every issue contains an unsubscribe link).
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Administrative access is limited to trained staff with individual credentials. No payment is collected through this website and we never store card numbers.
9. Cookies & Analytics
This site uses only functional cookies (your session while filling a form). We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics without cross-site tracking. There are no advertising trackers. Embedded YouTube videos on our Videos page load only when you press play and are then subject to YouTube's privacy policy.
10. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, restrict its use, or delete it. Write to Operation2@brightstartoursworld.com — we respond promptly, and always within 30 days. If you believe we have mishandled your data you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 except as part of a family booking made by an adult.
12. Third-Party Links
Pages may link to external sites (for example YouTube or WhatsApp). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only this website.
13. Changes to This Policy
Any changes will be published on this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 30 days.
