The desert starts where Hurghada's last road ends. After a safety briefing you take your own quad across 25 km of open sand and rock valleys to a Bedouin camp in the mountains' shadow — stopping where the dunes are best for photographs.
At the camp: a short camel ride into the sunset, Bedouin tea brewed on the fire, a charcoal BBQ dinner, and a show under the first stars. On moonless nights the Milky Way does the encore.
