Sataya Reef Dolphin House Snorkeling
Sataya is a crescent of reef enclosing a turquoise lagoon where pods of spinner dolphins — often fifty or more — come to rest after hunting all night. Enter the water calmly with our guides and the dolphins decide the rest: curious youngsters often circle swimmers for minutes at a time.
The encounter follows strict national-park rules (no chasing, no touching), which is exactly why the pods keep returning. Two coral stops on the outer reef and a hot lunch on board complete the day.

I cried in my snorkelA pod of maybe forty dolphins circled us twice. The guides were strict about distance and calm entries — exactly how it should be done.
